From the enthusiastic bucket collectors, online swimmers’ entries and individual sponsorship, the TSSA annual presentation evening resulted in three cheques being handed out to the main beneficiaries. Tenby Surflink, St John Ambulance Cymru and Tenby RNLI each went away £1k better funded.
The occasion was meaningful, too, for Phil John, coxswain of Tenby Lifeboat, who retires in May. And significant, also, for TSSA’s Secretary, Nicole Evans, & Chair, Chris Osborne, as they now make way for more youthful members on the organising committee. Our thanks to all three for their efforts over so many years.
This was a genuine succession moment. Now to start planning the 2024 swim!
