I came all the way from Texas to Tenby to spend Christmas with my family. We took part in our first boxing day swim in memory of my grandma Joan Henderson. We raised £140 for the Tenby Lifeboat. What a great event. Very impressed with the organization of it all! Was freezing, but nothing the soup and bonfire couldn't fix.

I am originally from Pembroke Dock but I have been living in the US for many, many years. I brought my family home for the Holidays and we took the plunge. It was great fun and we hope to start this tradition in the years to come.

Eye-wateringly cold, but a fantastic event to take part in. Raised £155 for HOPE and just want to thank FBM and all those kind volunteers on the water (and on the beach) who looked after us so well. The soup and the bonfire afterwards made it all worth while.

I came, I swam, I conquered!

Taking part in the Boxing Day Swim 2008 was so much fun. The day was bright and sunny, which was a bonus. The run in to the sea was a bit taxing ( as the tide was out!) The water was not as cold as I had anticipated! I experienced the best adrenaline rush in years, thats why I can't wait to do it all again this year.
We raised £130 for NSPCC which is a charity close to my heart.
Join the buzz in 2009 and take part in the Boxing Day Swim, and raise some money for worthy causes
